Dragon Cave



Dragon Cave Level
A short single-player level made with a team of four people: Sven Roels, Yannick Segers, Matthias Van Cauteren and myself.
We aimed for a Zelda-esque feel and worked together on the concept, puzzles, and atmosphere. Then we divided the assets and tasks, finishing the level in about 4,5 months (in combination with other courses).

Story
You are a fisherman caught in a storm, and you just stranded on an island. When you enter the cave, you find a dragon orb, which you need to bring to the shrine on top of the mountain. At first this seems easy, but when the floor collapses, you end up in a dungeon full of puzzles. Can you solve them to get out of there?


Contribution
  • Assets: mostly models and textures for the Main Room.
  • Level detailing: Main Room, Fire Room, Wind Room
  • Kismet: discs and doors in the Main Room, placing of orbs, waterfall in Entrance Room
  • Materials: ocean, lanterns, water(fall)
  • Lighting: almost all of it
